Train on upcountry-line derails

Train services on the upcountry line have been disrupted.

According to the Sri Lanka Railways, the Badulla-bound train from Colombo Fort has derailed  between Bandarawela and Heel-Oya railway stations.

Meanwhile, it is also reported that the Badulla-Colombo night mail train has also been cancelled today due to this.
