Trains delayed in coastal line

Train services on the coastal line will be delayed due to a technical issue in a train plying from Galle to Matara.

According to the Railway Department, the engine of a slow train traveling from Galle to Matara has broken down near the Kumbalgama railway station.

The ‘Ruhunu Kumari’ and ‘Galu Kumari’ trains plying to Colombo will experience delays owing to this.
