Trinity emerge champions of Under 19 Division One Tier 'A'

Trinity College Kandy emerged champions of the Under 19 Inter Schools Division One Tier ‘A’ Limited Overs Cricket tournament yesterday. They Richmond College beat 41 runs according to the D/L method in the final played at Thurstan ground Colombo.

Match was reduced to 41 overs per side. Trinity Kandy won the toss and elected to field first. Richmond Galle scored 123 runs in 40.1 overs, Sharon Abhishek (33), Janeth Kaushal (28) and Thamindu Pradeeptha (19) helped to build their innings. Theeraka Ranatunge claimed 3 wickets for 24 runs.
