US President Donald Trump has announced plans to impose tougher sanctions on Russia if it refuses to negotiate a ceasefire in the war in Ukraine.
He stated that Russian President Vladimir Putin must reach an agreement to end the war.
Trump also mentioned that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had emphasized the need for a peace deal to bring an end to the conflict.
Previously, Trump declared that he would end the Russia-Ukraine war as soon as he becomes president.
