Two arrested with army uniforms, radio sets in Dematagoda

The Police Special Task Force stated that two persons were arrested near the Dematagoda flyover along with Army uniforms and communication equipment, which were being transported in a three-wheeler for some crime.

Along with those two persons,   pants similar to Army uniform, a jungle cap used by the Army, three Prolab handguns, three batteries of them and two battery chargers were taken into police custody. The raid is done according to the information received by the duty officers attached to the Jayawardenepura Special Task Force camp.

The arrested suspects aged 42 and 45, are residing in Colombo 5 and Maharagama. The suspects have been handed over to the Dematagoda Police.
