Two die in Vavuniya motorcycle crash

Vavuniya Police said that two motorcycles collided with each other on Jaffna-Vavuniya A-09 road on Saturday (18) and the riders of both motorcycles died. The rider of one of the motorcycles was Niroshan Dissanayake, a constable attached to intelligence unit of the Akkarayankulam Police Station.

This officer is a 27-year-old resident of Sripura Tissapura.

The other person who died was a 63-year-old man named Sammuganathan.He is a resident of Kandasamy Kovil Road, Vavuniya.

The accident had happened in the Sole area in Vavuniya.
