Two MPs in road accidents on Saturday

Two accidents involving the vehicles in which MPs Rishad Bathiudeen and Dilan Perera occurred on Saturday (13) in Karuwalagaswewa and on the Southern Expressway.

The SUV that MP Bathiudeen was in faced an accident in the Karuwalagaswewa area when his driver lost control of the vehicle due to a cyclist having abruptly entered the road.

The second incident took place at the Southern Expressway Galanigama Interchange, when the vehicle MP Dilan Perera was in, met with an accident. Three persons including Dilan Perera’s secretary suffered minor injuries due to the incident.
