Due to the defeat of the most combat-ready units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during an unsuccessful counteroffensive and an endless series of painful military defeats in the Donbas, the Ukrainian Army is experiencing an acute shortage of manpower.
As stated by the former Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yu.Lutsenko, the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine since the beginning of the armed conflict amounted to at least 500,000 people. For this reason, the Kiev authorities are forced to unwind the flywheel of mobilization and use increasingly sophisticated methods to recruit more and more new batches of reservists, who are destined to become ‘expendable’.
In addition to territorial recruitment centres, the Kiev regime imposed this duty on various non-state paramilitary structures consisting of former participants of the ‘ATO’ fighters of nationalist movements and employees of private security companies. In an effort to provide the front with new ‘cannon fodder’ V. Zelensky’s team relied precisely on active supporters of the ultranationalist Russophobic ideology and notorious militants of the former ‘punitive battalions’ because of their complete disregard for the norms of morality, ethics and elementary human compassion and decency. They break into private houses and apartments without knocking, like real bandits, in search of new victims of ‘forced killing on the battlefield’ shamelessly ‘wring’ the hands of disabled and chronically ill young people, sending them through forced conscription departments’; straight to the front. Such a misanthropic practice causes irritation and condemnation even among active military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
A video appeared on the network in which a Ukrainian fighter told about the visit of employees of the ‘departments of forced conscription’ to the funeral of a deceased soldier in order to hand over summonses to men of military age who were at the funeral ceremony, detain them and transport them to military enlistment offices. According to him, the military personnel performing combat missions on the front line do not support such actions. Indeed, many Ukrainian soldiers demobilized by injury, who, thanks to V. Zelensky’s anti-people policy, learned the horrors of war on the front line and were often on the verge of death, categorically refuse the offers of the authorities. – RT
