Underworld T-56 sent to Govt Analyst

Colombo Additional Magistrate Manjula Ratnayake yesterday (18) ordered that the T56 firearm, which was found under a bridge in the Kaduwela area and was allegedly used in many murders in the Colombo area, to be forwarded to the Government Analyst according to the statement of Makilangamuwe Sanjeeva, a member of an organised crime gang.

Considering the requests made by the Peliyagoda Police to send this firearm to the Government Analyst and call a report, the Magistrate forwarded this firearm to the Analyst.

According to an interrogation of Makilangamuwe Sanjeeva, a member of the organised criminal underworld gang who is detained by the Weeragula Police on detention orders, this firearm was found.

It has also been revealed that this T56 firearm has been used in many killings that took place around Colombo and Sanjeeva has directed all these killings from Dubai.
