Union Assurance, Sri Lanka’s premier Life Insurer, continues its commitment to enriching the well-being of all by entering a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Department of Finance at the University of Kelaniya.
This partnership is the latest addition to the Company’s ongoing efforts to empower the nation’s future leaders, building upon its collaborations with the University of Wayamba and the University of Sri Jayewardenepura.
The signing event at the University of Kelaniya was attended by the Senior Management from both Union Assurance and the University, including Nisansala Paranayapa, the Chief People Officer at Union Assurance; Senior Professor Nilanthi De Silva, the Vice-Chancellor at the University of Kelaniya and Professor Bandara Wanninayaka, the Dean of the Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies at the University.
This partnership outlines a comprehensive range of initiatives focused on knowledge sharing, including specialised training programmes for entry-level positions as well as internship opportunities for university students.
These initiatives aim to empower future leaders in the sector by equipping them with the essential skills and experience that are vitalto succeedin a competitive landscape.
