University non-academic staff to launch two-day strike

The trade union collective of the non-academic staff members of state universities have decided to launch a two-day token strike over several demands including a salary hike.

However, the Education Ministry officials pointed out that necessary moves have already been taken in accordance with the committee appointed to rectify the salary anomalies of university non-academic staff members.
