Varun Beverages leads ‘Wewita Lake’ cleanup effort

Varun Beverages Lanka (Pvt) Ltd., the official bottling and distribution franchise holder for Pepsi Co Beverages in Sri Lanka, has announced the completion of a significant initiative to clean up Wewita Lake.

The lake, heavily impacted by plastic waste, has been restored to a healthier state thanks to the company’s commitment to environmental sustainability and collaboration with local authorities.

Varun Beverages Sri Lanka (Pvt) Ltd Head of Legal Compliance and Sustainability Eresha Kumburulanda said; “We are thrilled to have successfully completed this important initiative.
