‘Wedaduru Abhima’ Presidential Award ceremony concludes

Health and Department of Ayurveda Ministry collaborated with Fadna and Lever Ayush to successfully organize the “Wedaduru Abhimana” Presidential Award Ceremony” at BMICH recently.

The event was organized to promote and empower indigenous medicine by recognizing the exemplary contributions and achievements of registered Ayurveda practitioners across the island and to provide national recognition for their dedication and expertise in the field of Ayurveda.

Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena was the Chief Guest while Speaker, Mahinda Yapa Abeywardane, Indigenous Medicine State Minister Sisira Jayakodi, Health Minister Keheliya Rambukwella, and Ports and Shipping Minister Nimal Siripala, policymakers, researchers, academics, industry professionals, and Ayurveda practitioners from various parts of the country participated.
