Wellawaya bus accident: 15 injured

15 individuals including seven school students have been injured in a bus accident in Wellawaya, on the Wellawaya – Thanamalwila main road.

Incident has taken place after a private passenger transport bus veered off the road and overturned in Wellawaya, on the Wellawaya – Thanamalwila main road.

The injured individuals were admitted to Wellawaya Base Hospital for treatment.

Further investigations are being conducted by the Wellawaya Police.
