Woman arrested for attacking two PCs

A 62-year-old woman who attacked two Tangalle Police officers who went to a house in Tangalle Goyambokka area to investigate a complaint about theft was arrested by the Tangalle police officers Monday (25) evening. A senior Police officer said that the

woman first attacked a female Constable, twisted her hand and then kicked a constable.

The senior officer further mentioned that the Police team that went to this woman’s house included the Tangalle Police Station OIC.

The arrested woman is to be produced before the Tangalle Magistrate’s Court.
