Yukthiya Operation: 770 arrested

During the special operation ‘Yukthiya’ conducted by the Sri Lanka Police and its Special Task Force (STF) in 24 hours, the following quantities of narcotics were seized.

The narcotics that were seized had 132g of heroin, 121g of crystal methamphetamine (Ice), 15kg 900g of cannabis and 128 narcotic pills.

A total of 703 suspects have been arrested during the operation.
