Zahira College annual prize giving

Zahira College’s 130th Annual Prize Giving was held at the College Abdul Ghafoor Hall on Friday (8).

College Principal Trizviiy Marikkar presented the Principal’s Report.

Dean, Medicine Faculty, Colombo University Prof. H. W. Dissanayake was the chief guest.

The Best All Rounder Students of the Year 2022 Fahad Faisaal received the N.D.H. Abdul Ghafoor Gold Medal with Prof. M.T.A. Furkhan Challenge Cup and Brigadier A. Ariyapperuma Memorial Challenge Cup from the chief guest.

Senior Lecturer, Medicine Faculty and Pediatrician Consultant of the Lady Ridgeway Hospital Dr. Diwing Dissanayake, Zahira College Board of Governors Chairman Fowzul Hameed, Secretary Alavi Mukthar, Treasurer M. S. M. Niyas, Old Boys’ Association President Shiraz Niyaz, Deputy Principal M. M. Shazuli, Vice Principals Fazlin Firdhouse, A. M. Mihilar, M. J. M. Rizkhan, M. T. M. Ilham, Zeenath Ismail, Sectional Heads, teachers, students, parents and old boys were present.

Principal Trizviiy Marikkar presented a token of appreciation to chief guest Prof. H. W. Dissanayake. Head Prefect Umar Asri proposed the vote of thanks.
