42 arrested with narcotics at Kolonnawa
42 persons have been arrested with various narcotics including heroin, ‘Ice’ (Crystal Methamphetamine) and Cannabis during a joint raid conducted by the Police, Special Task Force (STF) and Sri Lanka Army at the ‘Sanhinda Sevana’ flats in Kolonnawa.
The raid has been carried out on the orders of Acting IGP Deshabandu Tennakoon.
During this raid, the security personnel have searched 625 individuals from 165 houses at the ‘Sanhinda Sevana’ flats, the police said.
