Army’s M. Fernando wins Elite women’s race

Army soldier M.Fernando won elite women’s cycle race at the Nestlé Nestomalt Cycling Challenge 2023 concluded successfully last Sunday at the Viharamahadevi park.

S.Priyadhsrshani of Sri Lanka Air Force was placed second while W.A.A Sadamini of St James CC Madampella ended in third place of this event.

The 28 Km race around the Viharamahadevi Park successfully concluded and three Forces women cyclists dominated the event.

The much-awaited fixture sponsored by Nestlé Nestomalt once again under the guidance of Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs yet again provided a platform for talented cyclists to showcase their skills, uplift their professional cycling careers.
