Old Trinitians SC AGM today

Old Trinitians Sports Club will have their AGM next Saturday October14th at the club house at Asgiriya at 10. a m and this time one of their hard workers and a keen sports promoter is tipped to take over the presidency with a hard working committee. This club gives a big hand to Trinitians who at one time played A division rugby and they also took part in cricket and hockey.

The original idea of forming Old Trinitians SC came from the late A.G.G. Perera a loyal old boy who in the month of May 1978 requested the then Principal to look into the possibilities of forming a club. It is worth mentioning the names of the late Keerthi Ratnayake,Nugent Kapuwatte, Duleep Ranasinghe, Sidhantha Blok, Leonard de Alwis and Jayantha Ranhotty who did yeomen service during this period. The OTSC was formally inaugurated with .A.G.G.Perera as the first President and Col. .Leonard de Alwis as the first secretary on19th July 1980 with 53 members elected as founder members.
