Holiday for all Tamil schools tomorrow

The Education Ministry announced a school holiday for all Tamil schools tomorrow as the Deepavali festival falls today.

Deepavali is celebrated today, teachers and students will not be attending schools on the following day, so the Ministry have decided to grant this holiday.

However, the Education Ministry has also announced that schools must be held on November 18 (Saturday) to cover the syllabus.
