Ambassador of Sri Lanka discusses employment opportunities for Sri Lankans in Thailand

The Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Thailand and Permanent Representative to UNESCAP C. A. Chaminda I. Colonne paid a courtesy call on the newly appointed Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Labour of Thailand Pairoj Chotikasathien at the Ministry of Labour on 15 February 2024.

This discussion was conducted as a follow up meeting to the discussions held with the former Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Labour of Thailand Boonchob Suthamanuswong. Both sides discussed on the early finalization of the bilateral ‘Agreement on the employment of Sri Lankan manpower in Thailand’, and securing more employment opportunities in Thailand for Sri Lankans including the public sector officials.
