A Man gunned down at Minuwangoda

A 30-year-old man was shot and killed while riding on a motorcycle last night (16 February) at Boragodawatta, Minwangoda. The victim died immediately afterwards. The victim has been identified as one Prasad Priyankara a resident of Anuradhapura. Police have also stated he is a well-known drug dealer who operated under the alias ‘Chanthu’.

Police said that the shooter fired at the victim near Ruwan Mawatha from and fled the scene. Police are still conducting an investigation on the matter and has not yet been able to arrest the shooter.
