A warm welcome for first runner up of 40th ‘Mrs. World’ Ishadi Amanda at BIA

The first runner up of the 40th ‘Mrs. World’ pageant held in Las Vegas, the Sri Lankan representative Ishadi Amanda arrived at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) yesterday (04).

The pageant, held on January 30, featured participants from 40 countries around the world. Ishadi Amanda arrived at BIA on Qatar Airways flight QR-658 from Doha.

A welcoming ceremony was organized by the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau to give her a warm welcome.

Ishadi Amanda’s parents, husband, and daughter reside in France.

In addition to Ishadi Amanda, notable attendees included National Director Chandimal Jayasinghe and Sri Lanka team trainer Rukmal Senanayake, the Director of the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau, Subashini Perera, Assistant Director Sureshani Pilapitiya, and many other prominent figures in the field also greeted her at the airport.
