Tbilisi : On the last day of ADB’s 57th Annual Meeting, ADB President Masatsugu Asakawa told the Governors’ Seminar that regional cooperation can help address the common challenges posed by climate change and strengthen economies by building greener and more resilient value chains.
ADB will continue evolving its support to clients, using newly expanded lending capacity to support key priorities, President Asakawa told the ADB Governors’ Business Session.
The replenishment of $5 billion for ADB’s Asian Development Fund will allow ADB to better support communities facing these and other risks, particularly small island developing states.
Next year Milan, Italy, will host the 58th ADB Annual Meeting under the theme “Sharing Experience, Building Tomorrow.”
