Addalaichenai Lucky Sports Club emerges soccer champions

The Addalaichenai Lucky Sports Club beat Heroes Sports Club, Addalaichenai 1:0 in the final and emerged champions of the Chairman Championship football tournament which was held recently at the Addalaichenai Public Playgrounds

Digamadulla Football Development League Senior Deputy President and senior football Player A.H.Hamza Sanoos organized the tournament while several teams participated in a league system.

Addalaichenai Lucky Sports Club beat Heroes Sports Club, Addalaichenai in the final round.

Due to high competition between the teams no one was able to shoot goal until half time. Forward Delakshan of the Lucky Sports Club, Addalaichenai team shot a goal to emerge champions. All participated very keenly and enthusiastically. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) M.A.M.Nawas participated as the chief guest at the award ceremony.
