Airbus deal probe: P.B. Jayasundara questioned for 4 hours at home

Bribery Commission officials have recorded a nearly four-hour statement from former Treasury and Finance Ministry Secretary P.B. Jayasundara at his residence in Nikaweratiya as part of the investigation into allegations surrounding the Airbus deal.

Jayasundara served as Secretary to the Treasury and Ministry of Finance from September 2009 until January 2015, covering the period relevant to the Airbus transactions under investigation.

He later served as Secretary to President Gotabaya Rajapaksa from 2019 until 2022. (Newswire)
