Akhil Miha sportsman par excellence

M.M.M.Akhil Miha, a student of Kalmunai Al-Misbah Maha Vidyalaya in the Ampara district, is a talented younger sportsman who has won dozens of certificates, medals, cups and trophies for sports events at Divisional, Zonal, District and Provincial Levels.

M.M.M.Akhil Miha, participated in Eastern Province Inter School Athletic Competition -2023 conducted by the Eastern Province Education Department at the Leelaratna grounds, Kantale recently and won the first place for Hurdle 50m event securing a gold medal and a certificate for Under -14 (boy’s) age category.

The champions along with the coaches received a warm welcome at Own Soil Kalmunai.

Winner student donned in garland and felicitated with prizes by the Kalmunai Al-Misbah Maha Vidyalaya Principal M.I.Abdul Razak at the school premises recently. Deputy Principal M.R.M.Nowshad was instrumental in organizing the event.

Coach and Physical Education Teacher A.J.M.Sasan, School Sports Trainers M.J.M.Mufeeth and A.J.M.Sabith too were congratulated and felicitated by the Principal and school community.

Teaching staff, students and others participated on this occasion.
