Akkaraipattu As-Siraj Maha Vidyalaya Teachers emerge champions

Akkaraipattu As-Siraj Maha Vidyalaya Teachers team emerged champions by 51 runs at the limited over’s cricket match when they beat Akkaraipattu Munawwara Junior College Teachers team in the Legendary Cricket Encounter concluded recently at As-Siraj Maha

Vidyalaya (National School) Play Grounds.

The match was organized with the aim of building up rapport between the two schools.

With the arrival of Principal A.G.Fasmil As-Siraj Maha Vidyalaya (National School) stretching hand with other schools in the area. Large number of teachers from Akkaraipattu Munawwara Junior College and As-Siraj Maha Vidyalaya (National School) took part at this event.

In fact for the first time this event was conducted. As-Siraj Maha Vidyalaya (National School) Teachers team won the toss and bat first and scored 144 for 6 wickets in 10 over’s. In reply,

Munawwara Junior College Teachers team, scored 94 runs losing 7 wickets.

Akkaraipattu Zonal Education Director A.M.Rahmathullah graced the occasion as Chief Guest at the award ceremony.

Winners were awarded Champion Trophy’ and prizes and the runner-up Akkaraipattu Munawwara Junior College Teachers team was awarded a trophy by the guests at the event.
