Akkaraipattu District Court Staff Cricket Team champions

Akkaraipattu District Court Staff Cricket Team beat Akkaraipattu Bar Association Cricket Team by 46 runs in the final to emerge champions and bagged the Champion Trophy of the limited over’s cricket tournament conducted by Akkaraipattu Bar Association played in Pallikudiyeruppu Athaullah Public Play Grounds in Akkaraipattu recently.

A one-day friendly cricket tournament was organized by the Akkaraipattu Bar Association President and Senior Lawyer M.M.Baheej under the guidance of the Akkaraipattu District Judge M.H.M.Hamza to promote rapport among Court officials.

The Akkaraipattu Bar Association, Akkaraipattu District Court Staff and Akkaraipattu Magistrate Court Staff cricket teams took part in the tournament.

The final match was played between the Akkaraipattu District Court Staff and Akkaraipattu Bar Association Cricket Teams. Akkaraipattu District Court Staff Cricket Team scored 153.

Akkaraipattu Bar Association Cricket Team in reply scored 107. Kalmunai High Court Judge J.Troxy graced the occasion as the Chief Guest at the award ceremony.
