Allotment of 5 acres of land belonging to Melsiripura Farm for a playground

A request has been made to transfer 5 acres of land from the Malsiripura farm belonging to the National Livestock Development Board to the Ibbagamuwa Pradeshiya Sabha for the construction of a public stadium and the board of directors of the National Livestock Development Board has agreed to allocate five acres from the Medamulla division of the farm. In accordance, the Cabinet approved the Proposal presented by the Minister of Agriculture and Plantations to transfer the said land to the Ibbagamuwa Pradeshiya Sabha.
