Reserve Wicket keeper and a safe fielder in any position and school Volleyball Captain, Member of the Sri Lanka Girls Emerging Cricket Squad Subasinghe Appuhamilage Amadhi Kaveendya Wijesinghe has brought honour and fame to her two schools Sangabodhi Vidyalaya Nittambuwa and Rathnavali Balika Vidyalaya, Gampaha with her deeds in the field of sports.

Amadhi was born on 29th December 2001 and admitted to Rajagiri Junior School Hangawatte initially in 2007 and then Principal was T.A.T. Thejabandu . and in 2012 she entered Sangabodhi Vidyalaya Nittambuwa. There she participated in Volleyball and in Softball Cricket Tournaments. She commenced playing Volleyball in 2013 and she continued up to 2016 she captained the school under 13 and 15 teams and they participated at the Divisional and Zonal Tournaments and they won. Though she played Volleyball her forte is Cricket and her first Cricket Coach was her father Chandana Wijesinghe and in 2014 she was admitted to Nittambuwa Ladies Academy and her Coach was Chaminda Perera and they played friendly matches. In 2017 she passed the Ordinary Level Exam with flying colours obtaining Seven ‘A’ s and Two ‘B’ s and her Parents Chandana Wijesinghe and Arosha Alagiyawanne made arrangements to admit her daughter to Rathnavali Balika Vidyalaya Gampaha in 2018.

Same year she attended Cricket practices under Asela Sampath, Gayan Munasinghe, and Ishan Ranasinghe and walked in to the under 19 team easily and played few Inter School Matches and played for the Big Match versus Anula Vidyalaya Colombo and she earned the Best Batswornan Award. Then in 2018/19 she participated in the Schools Singer Tournament and her school became Runner up and in the following year too she played for the Singer Tournament and they were the Runner up and she scored 38 runs in the Semi Finals. In the meantime her school participated for the Tournament organized by Gampaha District Umpire association against the under 13 Boys Teams of the District and her school clinched the Trophy and in the finals she won the Best BatswomAn Award with a score of 58 runs.
