Ambassador of Sri Lanka attends Navaratri Pooja at Maha Mari Amman Hindu Temple in Bangkok
Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Thailand and Permanent Representative to UNESCAP, Wijayanthi Edirisinghe attended the Navaratri Pooja held at the Maha Mari Amman Hindu Temple in Bangkok on 11 October 2024, as the chief guest of the event. The ceremony, which celebrated the vibrant festival of Navaratri, brought together devotees and members of the Hindu community in a spirit of devotion and unity.
During the event, Ambassador Edirisinghe expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to participate in the auspicious occasion, and emphasized the significance of cultural and religious diversity in strengthening community bonds.
