Annual Sri Pada season began

The annual Sri Pada season began yesterday after processions, carrying the Sacred Casket of Relics of the Buddha, Sacred Objects, and the statue of God Saman from the Sri Pada Raja Maha Viharaya in Galpoththaawala, Ratnapura, reached Sri Pada yesterday morning.
