Another five suspects arrested over Umandawa Buddhist Village attack

Nikaveratiya Police have arrested another five suspects who were wanted in connection with the attack and damaging properties of Umandawa Global Buddhist Village in Kurunegala on May 10.

The arrested suspects, aged between 27 and 67 and are residents of the Madahapola area. Officers of Nikaweratiya Division Criminal Investigation Division are carrying out further investigations.Nikaweratiya Police has so far arrested 36 suspects over the attack and for damaging properties of the Umandawa Global Buddhist Village.
