Apollo Hospitals expresses interest in establishing hospitals in Sri Lanka

Apollo Hospitals has expressed interest in establishing hospitals in Sri Lanka and investing in the country’s healthcare sector, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

Apollo Hospitals Chief Executive Officer V. Naveen and senior officials met Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism Minister Vijitha Herath on Monday (21).

According to the ministry, the discussion focused on potential investment opportunities in Sri Lanka’s health sector and areas for broader healthcare cooperation.

The Apollo Hospitals delegation also conveyed its interest in expanding its presence in Sri Lanka through hospital investments. (Newswire)
