The Sri Lanka Army completed the construction of three floors of an eight storied building at the Colombo South Teaching Hospital to serve an additional 250 patients.It was handed over to the hospital authorities by Army Commander and Chief of Defence Staff General Shavendra Silva and the President of the Seva Vanitha Unit of the Army Sujeewa Nelson yesterday. The Army Armament Factory in Dombagoda made 250 beds for these wards and the Seva Vanitha Unit of the Sri Lanka Army also donated cupboards, mattresses, pillows and pillowcases and a stock of sanitary equipment.
