Asanga-President of Sri Lanka Baseball

Veteran sports administrator Asanga Seneviratne was re-elected as President of Sri Lanka Baseball (SLB) at their Annual General Meeting (AGM) held at the CR and FC pavilion recently.

Seneviratne is a well-known sports administrator, and he was the Vice-President of the National Olympic Committee of Sri Lanka and is an Independent Committee Member, Chairman of Competitions and High-Performance Sports, President of the Sri Lanka Rugby Football Union from 2012-2018, Secretary General of Asia Rugby and Vice-President of Sri Lanka Cricket from 2013 to 2016. Seneviratne currently serves as Chairman of the recently appointed Rugby Advisory Committee.

Meanwhile, Sanka Abeywickrama continues as the Secretary while Akila Premathilake was re-elected unopposed as the Treasurer. Four Vice-Presidents hold office as Brigadier Anil Perera and SSP Ajith Asiri were elected to partner with Manoj Fernando and Air Commodore Sujeevan Senarathne.

Director Men’s Senior League: Chathuranga Ranasinghe.

Director Little League: Pubudu Kodikara.
