Ashu demands Rs. 1.5 bn from Hirunika, Adarsha

Former MP Prof. Ashu Marasinghe through his attorney Maleen Rajapaksha has sent a Letter of Demand for Rs.1.5 billion to former MP Hirunika Premachandra and a woman called Adarsha Karandana for insulting him by publicising an edited video which is a misleading one.

Marasinghe through the Letter of Demand claims that the duo have attempted to tarnish his reputation by building a public opinion against him at a press conference conducted by them on December 23.

Accordingly, Marasinghe has demanded Rs.500 million from Hirunika Premachandra and Rs.1 billion from Adarsha Karandana.
