Asian SC clinch badminton team title

Asian SC from Arayampathy emerged team champions at the Prof. Ranjit de Silva Inter club Badminton championships concluded at Sanithamaruthu Nintavur and Batticaloa BDBA courts over the weekend.

Holy Heroes SC from Sainthamaruthu became the runner up at the team event . The tournament successfully conducted by Eastern Province Badminton Association in association with Sri Lankan Badminton. M.S.M. Mazhar Mijsa of Kattankudy CC SC defeated MUM. Usama of Nintavur Badminton Club to win the men’s singles under 20 event while P. Puspansali of Karaitivu SC clinched women’s singles event by defeating R. Kethuja of Karaitvu SC.
