Bandula Gunawardena appears before Bribery Commission

Former Minister Bandula Gunawardena arrived at the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) this morning (02), following a summons issued by the Commission.

According to reports, the former Minister was summoned to record a statement in connection with a Cabinet paper submitted to the Cabinet of Ministers in 2007.

Gunawardena appeared before the Bribery Commission in response to the summons, with officials expected to record his statement regarding the matter. (Newswire)
