Needing seven wickets on the final day, Bangladesh overcame numerous fielding errors and found heroes in Taskin Ahmed (4/82 ) and Mehidy Hasan (4/66) to finish the task at hand on the final day.
With just three wickets needed in the final session, Bangladesh could have wrapped things up quickly if it weren’t for two more dropped catches – this time by Shakib Al Hasan.
An entertaining last wicket stand came to an end finally when Mehidy got the last man, Richard Ngarava, out bowled to hand Bangladesh a memorable win.
