Barbarians win Mohamed Rashmi Memorial Trophy

Barbarians SC, Beruwela won the M. H. Mohamed Rashmi Memorial Football match when they beat Y. M. S. C. Sports Club, Dharga Town, Aluthgama by 2-1 at the Sam Rifai Hajiyar school grounds recently. The match was organized by the readers forum of Thinakaran newspaper to celebrate 91 years for the paper.

Former State Pharmaceutical Corporation chairman Dr. Roomy Hashim was the chief guest at the award ceremony.
