Batik Air to fly Colombo from Malaysia from May 13

Batik Air – the full-service subsidiary of The Lion Air Group continues its rapid expansion in international routes by opening new flights to Malaysia and Sri Lanka from May 13, 2023.

Quoted in Kompas.com, Danang Mandala Prihantoro stated: “Batik Air will connect Indonesia to Sri Lanka from May 13, 2023 flying seven times a week.”

Prihantoro said the new routes will connect Sri Lanka with six major air hubs in Indonesia. The new routes will transit via Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. From Kuala Lumpur, the onward flights to Colombo, Sri Lanka, will be operated by Batik Air Malaysia.
