Battered body found in Kaduwela

A naked body of an unknown male was found yesterday (2) in a shrub area in Kaduwela, Tank road. Kaduwela Police said two mobile phones were also found near the body.

Police said that the suspect is between 30 and 40 years.Police further states that there are signs of assaults on the body, and it has not yet been revealed who it is or from which area he is from.

Police suspect that he was killed in some other area and brought to this place. A magisterial investigation is also scheduled to be conducted by the Nugegoda crime scene investigation officers.

Kaduwela Police OIC Khan Weerasinghe and a team including Crime Division Officer In Charge Police Inspector Chathuranga is conducting investigations.
