Beach Cleaning Programme by 1 SLCMP

On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the 1 Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (1 SLCMP), a beach cleaning programme was conducted on 16 October 2024.

Under the guidance of the Commanding Officer of the 1 SLCMP, Major Nayanajith Jayasekara, a one-kilometre stretch along Wellawatte Beach was cleaned during this event. Officers and Other Ranks of the 1 SLCMP participated in the programme.
