Bens -champions of Saints Quadrangular athletic meet

St . Benedicts College emerged overall champions with a lead of 125 points at Saints Quadrangular athletic meet which concluded at St.Peters College grounds Bambalapitiya.recently

Ben’s athletes won the under 14 ,16,18 and under 20 team championships in their respective age categories while their under 12 athletes ended as the first runners up to win the overall championship.

St. Benedict’s College obtained highest points of 556 while St Peters with 431 points ,St. Joseph’s with 197 and St. Anthony’s having 171 points at this meet.

The potential of Benedictine athletes was evident throughout the meet while their outstanding performance was really appreciated by St Benedict’s Director Rev. Br Dr Pubudu Rajapaksa

The Sports Coordinator Rev.Br.Dilshan Vimukthi, Head Coach and MIC of athletics Nuwan Abeywickrama and all the coaches, Old Bens and parents gave support for Bens athletes to get this success with the blessings of Bens Director Rev Bro Dr Pubudu Rajapaksa who always encouraged them.
