The squad was approved by the Minister of Youth and Sports Namal Rajapaksa.
Meanwhile, Sri Lanka suffered another injury blow when fast bowler Binura Fernando was ruled out of the ODI series with an injury.
Fernando sprained his left ankle during a practice session and his injury was confirmed as a lateral ligament sprain.
Earlier, wicket-keeper batsman Kusal Janith Perera was also ruled out from the ODI and the T20I series owing to a right shoulder sprain, suffered during training. The first ODI will be played on Sunday at the R. Premadasa Stadium.
