Bones similar to human bones found

A group of workers who were digging a hole to install an electric pole on the road in front of the District Election Office located in Matara Fort, found bones similar to human bones.

After informing the Archeology Department about it, a group of officials from the Galle and Matara Archeology Regional Offices came to the place and conducted preliminary investigations.
