Boxer Thajudeen wins three medals

Former Air Force and national boxing champion T. Nalin Thajudeen bagged three medals at the inaugural South India Masters Athletics Championship held in Uduppi, Chennai.

Competing in the over 60 age category, Thajudeen won the silver medals in the 400m and 800m and a bronze medal in the long jump.

A reputed boxing coach and one-star referee, Thajudeen served as Command PTI and won the award for the Most Dedicated Air Force Sportsman before retirement from the service.
